In 2013, Greenlux Finland helped Citycon Group in their transition of the parking house at Columbus Mall in Vuosaari towards LED general lighting.
The two indoor sections of the parking house have a 560 parking space capacity, and a car wash facility. The illuminance measurements on their installations averaged around 90 lx, with points on the driveways being as low as 13 lx.
505 GLG’s (now GLE’s) installed in the summer of 2013 helped raise this average to 185 lx with great savings in energy consumption. A noticeable improvement to lighting quality, running costs and environmental impact.
